Look what I made!

I love it when my recipe looks like the picture! I swap ingredients a lot because of food allergies and the final product doesn’t alway match the picture! I’ve always said that taste is more important than looks but it’s even better when it looks like the original recipe. This recipe is from Vegetarian Cooking for Two by the Memphis couple Justin Fox Burks & Amy Lawrence. The first recipe I tested was Chickpea Chick’n Biscuits.

The Fall Food Issue Okra.

I made their recipe as published in Okra magazine. For the biscuits I used this recipe. I love trying new recipes and my family loved this! Up next will be the Black-eyed pea sausage.
