It’s been a February like no other. Winter storms, seeing family, great checkups, a new family member, and lots of snow days. Oddly enough we had more snow days in February than all other months combined.

We learned what worked and what didn’t when it came to staying warm in the snow. We took pictures and played capturing this new winter wonderland. We counted our blessings as so many across the country suffered battling storms. We spent even more time together and baked a lot.

We got to visit family in Pennsylvania and go snow tubing. Simply eating and visiting brings such joy. Maneuvering around a frozen city with competent winter drivers was quite an experience. We are blessed beyond measure.

February’s been hard over the years but this one I believe is the best. And I know there will be even better February’s in the future.

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

As we all seek to get back to normal there are some things I do not want to return. Instead I want to run forward to more family time and giggles not taking a single moment for granted.
