Journey

Who wouldn’t do what we did? When your child is sick what parent wouldn’t go to the ends of the earth to find the best medical care despite the cost? That was our journey 2 1/2 years ago. An emergency appendectomy was just the beginning of the long very expensive series of symptoms that lead to a diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). After praising Jesus that it was treatable we were transferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So thankful for St. Jude’s we started raising money because we knew how much we’d spent before transferring there and thankful that St. Jude’s accepts only what our insurance paid. I’d still get the Explanation of Benefits from our insurance company but we’d never get a bill from St. Jude’s.
Almost a year ago we were praying for a way to pay the mountain of medical bills we faced in the six months searching for a diagnosis in three different children’s hospitals in three different states. God answered our prayers.

So as a shy introvert today I share a bit more of my heart feeling lead by the Lord.
So friends I’d love to pray with you and help you anyway I can. My prayer from Day 1 has been to help people spiritually, physically, for His Glory 🙌🏻
💗,

Julie
