Chicken Noodle Soup

After a week of rain chicken noodle soup seemed so appropriate. Making it from scratch ensures the highest nutritional value without the anything extra! So simple and yummy! 


Chicken Noodle Soup
2 onions

4 large carrots

4 ribs of celery

6 glove of garlic

Whole chicken or 4 large chicken breast

Salt & pepper to taste

1 Bag pasta (mine was 14oz) 
I start chicken first- whole chicken covered in water, salt, pepper and boil one hour saving broth for soup base.
Prepare pasta as directed on package & drain.

 

Sauté first 4 ingredients in olive oil. Then add to broth. Take chicken off bone and add to broth. Bring to a boil. Then add pasta.
