One year of amazement summed up in two words: ONLY GOD!

That’s correct. I can not possibly mention everything over the last year but I can share a few examples.

Everything fell into place perfectly as only He could. From the job offer to move in 40 days! 40 days from praying, packing, researching, learning, leaving…. it still seems unrealistic. We sold our home very quickly but struggled to find the prefect home in Lynchburg.

Little did I know God picked the prefect home and neighbors for us. We are close to church, school, and work. We have more family time together than ever before. Then COVID19 hit and we were all at home all of the time. God knew what was coming and perfectly planned everything.

We’ve had more time to explore our new state, make new friends, and try new things!

We’ve picked apples, strawberries, and lavender. Hiked, camped, picnics, and played. There is nothing extraordinary about any of these things. But taking the time to experience them is. I’ve always said God was first in my life and then my family. Over the years I let my jobs and agendas creep into my family time. I’m thankful for this season of family and self discovery. Setting aside my agenda for His. Learning to love and serve my family and neighbors better. Seeking His will over mine. And most importantly ditching the unrealistic expectations I put on myself.

God’s taught me that seasons change and His way is best. I’m thankful I don’t try to know the future because I know who does! I’ve never been so excited to be where I never knew I needed to be!

So friends if you find yourself in a season of uncertainty call on the One who knows the way. For nothing will be impossible with God. Luke 1:37
