On this last day of the year I’ve been thinking about 2016. It’s been a challenge and a blessing. I’m so thankful for the love of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for St. Jude’s. I’m thankful for friends and this community. I’m thankful for many second chances. I’m thankful that God’s mercies are new each day. So as I reflect on 2016 I am hopeful for 2017. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
