I Scream You Scream We All Scream for Ice Cream

🍓Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream 🍓

July is hot and prefect for ice cream! Just like the rhythm I Scream You Scream we all Scream for Ice Cream and just in time for the Independence Day!🇺🇸

We love ice cream and we love making homemade ice cream even more. Recently we discovered A2A milk! Have you tried it? So far those of us with dairy allergies are able to tolerate. Before this we used canned full fat coconut milk which is equally delicious. So here is the latest version from our kitchen. What kind should we make next? What recipes would you like us to create?

Strawberry Ice Cream

12 large strawberries washed and green tops removed

1/4 cup organic sugar

1/4 cup monk fruit

3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup chopped strawberries to add in towards the end of ice cream churning

Put the first five ingredients into a blender. Blend a minute then pour into the ice cream maker. It takes about 30 minutes in my ice cream maker. At the 20 minute mark I dropped the chopped strawberries one by one as the ice cream continues to churn. Each ice cream maker is different and time may vary. This makes about 3 1/2 cups.

Enjoy!

❤️,

Julie

PS: Enjoy your Independence Long Weekend!
